General
Pet Friendly
The Resort is pet friendly! Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times and picked up after. If you are bringing your pet, make sure to select a pet friendly cabin.
Fishing
Fishing is catch and release, and you do not need a fishing license to fish on Warren or Wilkinson Lakes. LCR does not sell equipment or bait on property.
Firewood
We do not provide or sell firewood on property. Most grocery stores, gas stations, or roadside stands in the area sell bundles of firewood.
Grills
Owners may have grills at their cabins. Rental cabins do not have grills. We provide community gas grills by the Lodge and at the picnic Pavilion.
Motor Boats
Motor boats are not permitted to be used on either lake. We provide kayaks and paddleboards (9-5 daily) to use on Wilkinson lake. All users must wear a lifejacket.
Golf Carts
We do not rent out golf carts. Owners may have golf carts and the office has golf carts for employee use only.
Ownership
We have about 190 cabins on property that are all individually owned. Owners may choose to have their cabins in the rental pools. Annualy about 50-60 cabin owners choose to put their cabin in the rental pool for some of the season.
Size of cabins
All cabins are 400 square feet inside. The standard layout includes a full kitchen, full bathroom, family room area, main bedroom with queen bed, and usually two sleeping lofts. There are a few two bedroom cabins or cabins with no lofts but they are all still 400 square feet. The screened in porch sizes vary on each cabin.
Amenities
We have two heated swimming pools, complimentary kayaks and paddleboards, playground, game room, pavilion, basketball, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, pickleball courts, and laundry facility. We do not have a general store or restaraunt on property. Within a 10 minute drive there are numerous restaraunts, markets, and stores.
Activities
We host activities Memorial Day Weekend, late June through early August, and Labor Day Weekend. Activities include crafts, archery, BINGO, food trucks, live music, various games and tournaments, and a scavenger hunt.
Location
We are located in Three Oaks, MI which is a part of Harbor Country in SW corner of Michigan. We are about 2-3 miles from Lake Michigan. Attractions close to us are the Warren Dunes State Park, New Buffalo Beach, Round Barn Brewery, Four Winds Casino, and much more. Click here for a full list of recommended places in the area.

Groups
We host many large group vacations and family reunions at LCR. We can help you select cabins that are close to one another. The Pavilion and Main Lodge are great spaces for your whole group to gather.
Season
We rent from May 1st-October 31st. The busiest time for rentals are Memorial Day Weekend, late June through mid August, and Labor Day Weekend.
Rates
Rates differ based on the cabin and time of year. In the summer a 3 night stay will range from $700-1,300 and a full week stay will range from $1,800-2,500. During the Spring and Fall a 2 night stay will range from $350-600 and a full week stay will range from $1,000-1,400.
Minimum Stay
During the summer there is a 3 night minimum stay. Spring and Fall there is a 2 night minimum stay.
Booking
You can book here or call us (269-469-3894) to make your reservation. You will be charged a $500 deposit when you make your reservation. The remaining balance will be charged 30 days before your arrival.
Cancellation
In the event Guest cancels the reservation at least 30 days prior to the arrival date and the Property is re-booked, 100% of the deposit shall be refunded minus a $100 administrative and re-booking fee. If the premises are not re-booked or the Guest cancels within 30 days of the arrival date, the deposit is non-refundable, and the full guest fee amount is due, and will be billed to Guest’s credit card. All cancellations must be made in writing and delivered to VHF via mail or email, and shall only be binding after return written receipt from VHF to the Guest is received by Guest.

Site License
Site license prices range from $20,000 to $40,000. Sites that are next to the woods or on steep ravines are very popular.
Cost
Resale cabins can range from $125,000 to $225,000. New cabins are $190,000 to $240,000. Prices differ based on location, interior finishes, and size of the porch/deck.
Expenses
The Annual Membership Fees are currently around $3,480 per year. This fee includes the cost of all grass cutting, tree maintenance, pool maintenance, amenity usage, standard cable TV, sewer service, city water service, trash service, property taxes on the resort and even staining the exterior of your cabin every couple of years as needed.
Electric fees average about $350 for the year and LP gas service is about $100 to $150 for the Spring, Summer and Fall.
Usage
Cabins are able to be occupied for maximum 180 days throughout the year. This cannot be your primary residence.
Renting
Owners can rent their cabin subject to certain limitations designed to preserve the resort experience. The majority rent through Vacation Home Finders. VHF charges a 30% fee to obtain renters for your cabin, collect payments, check the renters in, check the renters out and clean the cabin when the rental period is complete.
